About Pi
Pi Magazine, the student-run magazine of University College London Union, reports on a monthly basis on news, arts, film, fashion, music, and other features which concern UCL students. Pi was formed after WWII to provide the university a common focus, and it was named after the provost of the time Sir Derek Pye. The name was adapted to make it more academic sounding.

The online version of Pi Magazine includes original content, not included in the monthly print edition. Some web versions of the articles in the print edition are published in their uncut form, due to the spatial restrictions of print. The online edition of Pi also includes timely event announcements and competitions not available elsewhere.
